Hello guys!

My friend has an old pc (and that only)! He thought it was broken or something! I saw that it had Windows 7 on with 512 mb so I told him to buy 2 gigs and it will be ok! So I installed the 2 gigs and its working! The rest of the specs is a Intel Core 2 Duo 6300 1.86ghz an ancient gpu (he will probably upgrade to something cheap and the mobo is an ASUS P5VD2-MX! So now that I had everything installed there is no sound! I tried finding the audio drivers from asus but there arent any for Windows 7! The thing is the pc is showing something like (Digital Audio S/PDIF 5- High Definition Audio Device) I have it connected in a tv-monitor (if that even matters)! So if there are no drivers compatible with windows 7 it means there wont be any sound? I connected my headset in the mobo and nothing happens! Thank you in advance and sorry if my questions are stupid!
