Hello! I just recently (yesterday) bought the ASUS prime Z270-AR and I have triple check all the plugs, etc. There is a solid yellow light on the mother telling me there's a problem With The RAM, or HDD. So I ran the memory test by pushing the button on the motherboard ,and it failed the RAM tests and I don't know what to do. Any advice?

Solution
Are the ram sticks in grey slots? Made sure they are pushed all the way to the end (common problem)?
If yes to both and still nothing, try using just one stick at a time, testing it at A2 slot. If still nothing, try at other slots, still one stick. Failing that, you will need to remove motherboard from case (to rule out case shorting) and try same steps outside case.
CPU : Intel i5 7600K
GPU : XFX RX 470
PSU : EVGA 750W bronze certified

RAM : Ballistix 16gb x2
Cooler : corsair H100i v2
HDD : Toshiba 1TB

The Dram Led. Constantly lit yellow.
