Question Motherboard not getting power

Hello guys
I have a msi h61m-p20 (g3) motherboard with CPU intel pentium 4 2030
I font know the name of psu... its 400 wats and it is a good psu, i tested it
When i connect everything together and press the power button, nothing happens.. not a single fan is spining, not even the psu fan. I dont know what to do, where is the problem.. i tried everything, i tried to jump star the moterboard but nothing happens... i am stuck, there is no sign of life in my pc build

You tested the PSU how? With a paper clip? That doesn't tell you a lot.

Those are classic signs of a dead motherboard. It must be around 10 years old?

You don't have another power supply you can swap in temporarily?

I tried it in other motherboard, and it works
I tried different psu and still nothing

Very slight chance of CPU failure.

I say VERY SLIGHT.

I'd be motherboard shopping unless you have more information or have not connected stuff properly.

Just to make sure. You did check that the switch on the back of the PSU is set to on, correct?

It's most likely the motherboard, but I would check that first just in case... happened to me before.

Yes, i checked that one
