Question Motherboard not powering on

I have an old P5LP-LE motherboard that always used to power on without a problem.
I took it apart for a clean (removed dust and cleaned with isopropyl alcohol) and replaced everything the way it was and now it won't power on.

I've tested the power supply works by jumping pins 15 & 16 on the motherboards main power connector. It works but when I plug it in the board and jump the power button connection it does nothing.

If I jump the 15th & 16th pins of the main power connecter WHILE it's plugged in the motherboard though, it powers on but when I let go it loses power.

Can anyone help me with the dilemma please

check the capacitors on the motherboard - do they appear swollen or corroded?

also make sure the ATX and 24-pin motherboard cables are connected securely.

lastly hold the reset and then power button release both - should clear CMOS and reset in earlier boards

Hi, thanks
The motherboard is in pretty good condition, nothing corroded or anything. I inserted the connectors firmly. Like I said it was working perfectly fine.

I cleared the CMOS like you said and also removed the battery, pressed the power button and inserted the battery again

Nothing changed, still non responsive

I think I've found the problem, one of the socket pins' tip has snapped off. I must've damaged it while I was cleaning.

Any ideas how to repair that 😬😅
