I replaced my PSU because it was making a grinding noise like a cricket. The comp worked fine before I removed the PSU.

I chose a Corsair HX750i for the replacement. I unplugged all power before removing the old
PC WILL NOT BOOT, NO POST, NO BEEPS, NO DISPLAY. MOTHERBOARD?

PSU. After plugging in the new Corsair PSU the computer will not boot. I have some power because case fans, CPU fan, Graphics card fans spin, USB mouse lights up, and Ethernet cable shows communication.

I tried plugging in the old PSU again and it no longer is working. Same results as the new PSU.

I also reset CMOS Battery.

Working

I have a motherboard light indicating power
CPU fan spins up
USB mouse lights up
Ethernet cable has lights showing traffic

Not working

Graphics card does not push display to either HDMI monitor or DVI monitor - both show orange lights
USB Keyboard does not light up
Computer does not shut down when power button is held in.

Solution
Do you have both the 24 pin and the 4/8 pin power connectors to the mobo - also make sure the 4/8 is in fact the EPS connector and not a 8 pin or 6+2 pin PCI-E power connector
