Question Motherboard not working?

I’ve bought an aorus b450 elite and I plugged everything in in the correct spots. I’m using a Ryzen 5 2600, 16 gb ram, and an rx 580. When I turn on the psu the light on the mobo turns on and turns off quickly proceeding to not turn on or work. What am I supposed to do. Need help fast it’s my first time building!! Thank you!

It is an evga g+ 650 watts

If the solution is really simple please let me know because I’m a semi new builder and I would take anything that could possibly solve this

If I use the psu tester that plugs into the 24 pin power cable and turn on the psu the psu runs and works fine. But if I connect the 24 pin power cable to the mobo the psu doesn’t even work the fans don’t spin in the psu. 😥
