Motherboard OC helpp ??

aye my lil borther pc had gigabyte h61m-s2p rev 2.1 , right now his computer were using dual channel 800mhz old memory , im trying to upgrade to the new one , im also curious and thinking "is his mobo support high frequency ram ?" last time i remember it was only 1333mhz support, before i checked to the website its say "2200 OC" i know oc stand for overclocked , im just bought apacer black panther 8gb 12800 , how to enable oc mode in this mobo ?????

Not all motherboards have an OC mode especially old ones, also OCing RAM is usually done manually unless you have a profile on the RAM module to support an OC profile ( XMP, for example). You need to enter BIOS during boot (press DEL or F12 or sth else depending on OS) and search the Memory options. There you should find settings you can modify (like RAM timings. frequency). There you can modify the RAM frequency but you will notice that as frequency increases, timings also increase (lower timings are best). If you don't know what you are doing, then I suggest to leave the RAM at stock speeds (make sure they run at stock speeds in the BIOS), until you document yourself properly.
P.S. That motherboard supports a maximum stock speed RAM...

P.S. That motherboard supports a maximum stock speed RAM of 1333mhz. So any RAM kit if it has a higher frequency will default to this speed unless configured otherwise. The 2200 mhz is the maximum RAM OC supported (I wouldn't recommend running at that).
If you OC go for 1600mhz or 1866mhz if you have good timings.
