Question Motherboard only displaying VGA monitor when more than one plugged in.

Hello.

I have two monitors plugged into my PC. One is via a HDMI and the other is via a VGA. The thing is, when BOTH are plugged in my PC will choose to display the monitor plugged in with the VGA and not the other. It's like the VGA is prioritized by the computer.
To be clear, the HDMI port and cable works fine in both monitors if plugged in individually and so does the VGA. However, if BOTH monitors are connected and turned on and whichever monitor is plugged in to the VGA, then only the VGA monitor will display and the HDMI connected one behaves as if there is no signal.

I'm stumped on what to do, I've tried all of the standard procedures and I can't find any info on this problem.


I have no graphics card and the motherboard is an asrock A320M-HDV.

Almost any GPU can display on only one port when VGA is connected.

VGA is Analog
HDMI is Digital

That sucks. If that is the case, can I get a vga -> HDMI adapter and will that solve it?

No, it is the graphics card that can't do the two.
