Motherboard or cpu error, how can I test them?

I have been getting the blue screen error 0124 for around 3 months now. I can barely have internet explorer open for like 8 minutes, if not less. Over these three months I have tested all the components in the computer except for the Motherboard and Cpu, as they were the least likely to be the problem, and were hard to test for issues. But its came to the point now where there's nothing else to test. So my question is how can I test them both for issues? I can't have my computer on for too long due to crashing, so testing them through software is near impossible as it'd crash through the test. I don't have a spare cpu or motherboard to test with either. Please help :l

-You will want to update your BIOS or reset it to defaults to remove any overclocking.
- you need to check all of your fans and confirm they spin up, and are not slowed or clogged by dust (overheating problem) Check the CPU, GPU and Power supply fan.

- make sure you don't have any overclocking software running on windows.
- this error will occur if your power supply power fluctuates due to poor power regulation in the power supply or on the motherboard. (be sure to update the BIOS, it sets the default voltages and clock rates)

All the fans spin up, heat is defiantly not the problem. I have reinstalled windows multiple times and I have not overclocked my computer. I also also tried replacing the power supply with another one and I have gotten the same error.

make sure you do a BIOS update or reset it to defaults and reconfigure. This will rebuild the database of hardware and setting that the BIOS will send to windows. You will also get this error if your graphic card is not getting correct power (make sure any/all supplemental power connections are connected and providing power. swap out the connector/cable to confirm a line is not broken) Turn off browser 3d hardware acceleration to help confirm it is related to the problem.

Have you tried to remove all devices of your computer, letting just one memory stick, the graphic card, and boot on live CD?
