Motherboard or CPU issue?

I have a new Gigabyte GA-78LMT MB with a AMD FX-6300 CPU. I've changed the power supply, ram, hard drive, and vid card testing it. What happens is it will not post, no beeps no bios display. I don't have another AMD CPU to test. I could send it back but the deal I got on the system was to good and will be still a good deal even having to replace one or the other. So how can I determine what part is bad.

Benched it. Pulled the CPU and found the missed a row when installing the chip. Needless to say the chip is trash to many bent pins. Thanks for the help.

Sorry bout the CPU, wish they would go to a design lik Intel, don't know how many AMD CPUs I've worked on straightening pins
