Hi, im having problems with my pc where it will BSOD or Power will cut out on start up but only occasionally but the computer still works but will crash randomly and i have narrowed it down to either my MB (which has two SATA ports which wont read my hard drive but will read my DVD Drive) or CPU and i dont have spare parts to replace to see which one is the culprit but is there any programms i can run to test the CPU or MB?

Yep, with both CPU and motherboard potential problems, the safest way is to replace both. Given that, I say upgrade.

Easy enough to replace a FX8320E.

This is overkill, but one of the cheaper options:

Full hardware specifications?

Something like passmark, cinebench, superPI, Prime95 all will stress the CPU.
Memtest x86 for the memory (modern CPUs have the memory controller onboard)

Issues with ports on the motherboard does point some fingers there.

Consider also your powersupply. Might be failing and causing all your problems under a load.

I have tried a different power supply and the same thing still happens and i have also tried different GPU and different Hard Drive and still the same issue and i also did Memtest on my RAM and not faults were found.

If you are on a tight budget:

Harvest the CPU/Motherboard from this:

https://www.newegg.com/dell-optiplex-7020-business-desktops-workstations/p/1VK-0001-52KU8

Or even further down.

i7-4770k/4770 are going on ebay for between $50-60.
Pick up a cheap LGA1150 motherboard for between $30-50
Keep your memory.

Keep in mind that the FX8320E was considered slower than the 3rd generation Intel i5. This is the fastest DDR3 capable CPU series made, essentially, and would save you that price difference.
