I've built new system Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H, AMD Kaveri7850, 8GB G.Skill 2133 Sniper, and Samsung 850 EVO 250GB. Originally I bought everything with a OCZ ARC 100 240GB before the 850 EVO. After I loaded Win 7 Pro 64 it worked fine before I loaded the chipset drivers then it became unstable and kept rebooting after I loaded the chipset drivers. I changed out the SSD for a older 1tb Seagate mechanical drive and it loaded and worked fine, I talked to Gigabyte about the issue and they told me to get a different SSD so that's when I bought the Samsung 850 Evo and had the same problem. I then contacted Gigabyte again so they told me to exchange the MB for another. Again I'm running into the same problem with the new board where it keeps rebooting or it reboots and lose video. I did some research and seen there's some compatabilty issues withe chipsets, Please, any advise would help at because I'm almost out of the 30 day return policy with New Egg and I'll be at the nercy of the manufacters with warranty.

Maybe it's a compatibility issue and neither one is broken. Personally, I would check to see if there are any bios updates for your motherboard and update it; and do the same to see if there are any firmware updates for your SSD. Samsung tends to get them out the door and find ridiculous bugs later as far as their SSDs, it drives me nuts, like they don't test them very well.

The "Samsung Magician" software will check for updates for you. Be careful and check on google because sometimes the "bug" fixes lower performance. You can't undo or downgrade the firmware version once you upgrade (at least not with those tools).

I hope this helps.
