Motherboard + OS Help

I'm thinking about getting a new mother board and a new CPU on top of that but knowing I'm going to need to get a new copy of OS. Can I keep my OS somehow like transfer it.

if your using windows 10 and login using microsoft account (not local account) you'll be golden...
otherwise just fetch your key like this
