Hello,
Mobo: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 4x8 3200Mhz Xmp
When I set the XMP Profile in the Bios, the motherboard overvolts the RAM to 1.38V, but the XMP Profile is 1.35V. Is that normal? Everything is on default settings in the Bios, I just put the XMP on.
When I set everything manually like timings and frequency plus the voltage - 1.35V, the motherboard overvolts to 1.38V again.
Is this normal behaviour? Is the RAM defective or is the Motherboard defective?
Thank you in advance.
