my acer aspire zs600 desktop computer was working fine for a while and then it came up with a boot error and its telling me to put in a password to get into my motherboard and i never made a password what do i do?

Reset the cmos.

i can't get into any of the computer settings it either goes to a screen that says 'reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in the selected device and press any key' or when i push f-11 f-12 to get into the motherboard settings it says enter password in a little blue box and i never set a motherboard password?

yes your bios has a password. to erase the password you must remove then put back your cmos. that way you can remove the bios password.

Reset the CMOS to clear bios settings and then restart the computer.

how do i do that if i can't get into the computer? are u telling me to reset the cmos battery or by shorting the motherboard jumper to reset the cmos

If your mobo has not dedicated CMOS clear button you can do that by clearing the jumper physically on the mobo.
