Hello,
Earlier today i post a thread on here asking for help.
my previous thread in short : Pc turned off . wouldn't go back on only the GPU fans would spin no case fans or Cpu fan. We came to the conclusion that my motherboard (which is known for overheating) got too hot.
So now my question is how do i go about finding out if my Motherboard is permanantly damaged or If it just shut off on its own becouse it detected it got too hot or something in that region.
After it turned off early today i maneged to get it running again and it crashed again.
But now the pc has been running fine for about 6 hours .
ive even played about 2 hours of counterstrike without it crashing or anything . (Note: it crashed for the first time playing a game called mad max it had never crashed before on anygame and that was the first time playing that certian game)
I rushed to order a new Motherboard but now im realising that mightve been a mistake.
Is there a way for me to find out if my motherboard is permanently damaged Or if im fine with just Buying an after market cpu cooler and better Case fans to keep the Motherboard cooler.

TL ; DR . Motherboard crashed 2 times, woudln't turn back on for 30min.Now running fine for 6 hours. Is it perma damaged or should i be fine by keeping the motherboard cool.

CPU : AMD FX-6300. (24/36 IDLE - 60C after 2 minutes of playing mad max )
MB: MSI 970A-G43, ( 50C idle - 65C After 2 minutes of playing mad max.)
GPU : r9 270.

Solution
It isn't a bad motherboard if you use the stock CPU cooler that also cools the VRM and the northbridge. What are your thermal margins at full load (use AMD Overdrive to monitor your CPU)?
