Hi. I'm new to PC building and, just wanted to ask a question that I'm struggling to answer. My Motherboard has 6 USB ports whereas, my case that I want to buy only has 3 at the front. Also, my motherboard has 3 audio ports and my motherboard only has 2.
Motherboard: Asus P7H55
Case: Cit hero midi tower case
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Solution
Each of the motherboard ports will provide two USB ports. The specs for that case listed here -- https://www.cclonline.com/product/210159/CIT-HERO-BLACK/Cases/CiT-Hero-ATX-Case-Black-/CAS2660/ show 1 USB3 port (which you have no connection for) and two USB2 ports. The two USB2 ports you would connect to ONE of the motherboard ports identified by #13. You don't connect any case ports to the back.

I don't know where you get 6 USB ports with that case.

The audio is listed as "HD Audio" which should be a standard connection for #15.

Hi. Thank you so much for trying to help me!
I'm still not getting the point. Do I need a extra cable which connects from the one of the back USB ports on the motherboard to the back of my case? It'll be much appreciated if you could try explaining it to me!
Thanks

I had the incorrect manual because you incorrectly listed the motherboard in your original post...

Other than the page number, nothing I said was incorrect. It is still #13 (on PDF page 11 rather than 18) for USB connectivity.
Front panel audio is #15 on PDF page 11.

Hi! Thank You

So, basically what you are trying to say is;
- Only 3 of the 6 usb ports which are at the front get used because, there is no room for them to fit on the case
Picture: http://tiny.cc/6usbports
- The rest 3 usb ports get used at the back of the case by connecting a wire (which comes in the case) to a USB Port at the back
Picture: http://tiny.cc/3usbports

I am still very confused of what i should do. If my case has 3 USB ports at the front, i connect 3 there but, the motherboard will be sticking out due to the motherboard not being in a suitable position. And, if there are 3 USB Ports not being in use, i connect them from the back of the motherboard to the back of the case?. Each USB Input at the back is equivalent to 1 usb.

If i am right in what i am saying, please tell me.
If i am not, please give me a solution in a helpful way.

Thanks
