I have a Supermicro Motherboard x9dri-f that seems to work except won't power on by the case power buttons or by shorting the pins on the board.
Currently running win10. The first time I shut it off I was unable to turn it back on. I was able to reset cmos to turn it on because first startup is automatic, then I set bios for auto on whenever power is lost.
It would be nice to have functional power button, was wondering if anyone has seen a similar issue. Seems so unlikely the power pins on my board are bad, but it's the only thing that makes sense.
I have a corsair modular 650 powersupply, only thing out of the ordinary is an EPS splitter for dual processors. Thanks!
Edit: i did go through everything in the no post/no boot checklist that I was able to.
