Motherboard power reset is on but no boot

This is my first time posting here and I hope im doing this right, apologies in advance if im not.

Heres my story, basically I switched the PC casing and also switched the cpu cooler from zalman to the H60 corsair liquid cooler and now nothing starts up. Before i switched it (a few days ago), it was running fine for a year in my acrylic cheap case. Right now it is changed to the HAF 932 case. This pc has been updated and replaced a couple times so im at least 90% sure i put things back where it was suppose to be. I double checked on the net and youtube and all the manuals and im stuck at the moment.

but have yet to find out the problem on my pc =/

I am at a loss =(

NOTES:
* When i flick the power supply switch on, the motherboard power/reset switch lights up. This is the only thing on the whole PC that lights up when i flick the switch but at least i know its on :[
* Nothing moves when i push the casing power switch, or the motherboard power/reset switch. There is no sound whatsoever, nothing moves, nothing beeps. (Q-Code LED does not light up on the asus motherboard either)
* The motherboard power/reset switch lights up when the below power connectors are plugged in:
24-pin - yes
8-pin - no
Both - yes
Just noting this down since the checklist link showed the 8 pin to be prio than the 24 pin. I have them both plugged in at the moment but also have tried powering it up with only each of them in place with no luck.
* The only component unchanged is the power supply which seemed to be working perfectly fine before the case change.

Hi, It looks like your motherboards Bios has crashed and now your motherboard is dead and the bios of dead motherboard is updated only by hardware expert who knows the procedure.

My suggestion is to check your system to a hardware expert who can fix it. Because the bios of dead motherboard is not updated by normal installation procedures.

I may be wrong but that's what I think about it. Good Luck Friend.

hi mate did you reset your bios by removing the battery for 5 second's try that and see how you go otherwise you can remove every thing from the board and just try it with the bair essential's you had all of the stand off's in the correct position if you did then that should'nt be a problem is your graphics card in all the way are the power plugs in the card properly did you put the right amount of tim paste on and not to much is your ram in all the way just go along and check it all if that does'nt work take it out of the case and trie breadboirding it with is sitting it on a flat non conductive surface like a "breadboard" or bench or even your kitchen table.Then plug the power cord and ram 'and also your gpu in then test it then.

Just make sure you trie the simple thing's first like restting the bios and checking all components again and then go down the line good luck with your system i and many other's that build pc's have had this problem it is frustrating i know but when you figuire it out you'll be laughing.
