motherboard problem?

when the motherboard works fine
i hear the harddeive working cd working
everything except

the monitor works but is blank
power suppy model- atx gu aopen 115 to 250(gu) p4 watts
wattage reading
motherboard epox 4pgai
pentium 4 2.8 prescott chip
512 k ram 3200

buulding the system up from scratch

would it be the cpu?




what can u do to fix this problem?

Try checking the video card is fully seated. Check the video cable-are any pins bent? Is it securly put on both ends. As you might guess, I think it's your video card.
