So I wanted to upgrade my CPU from AMD to Intel so I bought and core i3 when I got it I put in the motherboard that I got from a friend but it didn’t work I don’t know what was the problem so I send the new CPU that I got from Amazon back then I decided to put my old CPU in my case and change my motherboard but then I realize that my computer wasn’t displaying anything maybe because I placed you on the carpet for three days I asked a guy from my computer shop he said he would charge $65 just to check what happened I was like you know what I’ll just check it myself now wondering if the motherboard was really damaged by the carpet or the static because I left it on the carpet for three days so in that case should I buy a new motherboard was the same new one?

Solution
Have you cleared the CMOS?
Have you double checked all the connections since you reassembled the computer?
Check the RAM is pressed all the way down in the memory slots and they are located in the correct slots.
