Motherboard, Processor and RAM upgrade

What are the things/specs I should consider in upgrading motherboard and processor?

I need at least 3 RAM slots.
I am also keeping my 3 hard drives, and (if possible) my video card.

My very outdated motherboard was ECS MCP61M-M3 (AM3 socket/Nvidia GeForce 6100).

What budget do you have? this is the one you want to consider first.

What CPU do you have?
What GPU do you have? the GeForce 6100 or other one, keep in mind the GeForce 6100 is the onboard iGPU, you can't move it.
