Motherboard, processor, graphics card upgrade

Hi all, I am looking to replace certain components in my desktop and wanted to get your opinions if the replacements I selected are decent.

CURRENT CONFIGURATION
Motherboard: Intel DG41WV
Processor: Intel Pentium E5700 3.0GHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS 1GB

PROPOSED CONFIGURATION
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I52500K
Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE 100283-3L Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

The case I have is a Micro ATX. Would that all fit? Are those good choices? I am planning on doing some gaming but it will mainly serve as a HTPC. Or is that overkill?

It's not overkill as long as you are looking for an htpc. If you wanted to do more gaming and higher quality you might want to get a better card.

It will all fit....the only thing that could be in question is the graphics card and that will depend on your case size. Look up the specs of your case and it should tell you a max vga length

The k cpu is only a few dollars more, so I don't see it a big deal, even if you aren't going to overclock it. I would get a better graphics card though, something along the lines of a 6850 or 6870.

At least 6850....thats the minimum i'd recommend for gaming these days
