Motherboard/ PSU Problem

Hello all I have a build thats about two weeks old and has been working fine.

I came home and changed my graphics card slot so that I would have more room for wires and and then turned on my pc, it turned on for a few seconds and turned off (didn't boot just turned on) then it will not turn on again.

I have a thing for my water-cooling that plugs into the main socket of the power supply that will run the pump so I did that and it does run the pump and I can open and close my CD Drive when I do this, however when I plug the main cord back into the motherboard nothing. I presume this means my motherboard is shot however I do not understand why?

My build,

i4790k Intel CPU
ASRock Z97 Extreme3
Corsair Vengance 16gb 1600mhz ram
SSD/HHD
water-cooled by XSPC
Gigabyte G1 Nvidia 970

If anyone has any thoughts or advice this would be greatly appreciated

I have taken my GPU All ram but 1 and as much else possible off my board and tried to turn it on and still nothing, I fear as if my mono is done for.

I wrote this and I couldn't post it, after another day of tests with a different PSU (my friends) I could get (with my PSU or his PSU) the cpu fan and power supply fan would spin for just a moment and then stop continiously after flipping the power supply on (this was both psu's) however still could not turn the pc on at all!

Any help!?

Did you remove the power plug before relocating the GPU?
Pc's are never really off when you just run shutdown on them...

Yea, I highly doubt I had my thinking cap on that night. So I am assuming I fried my mobo? Because I am gonna say I did not remove the power plug.

I would normally have done it, but for some reason, I don't think I did. I've built a few of these things and know the common do not do things.

Anyone else have a clue, my board prolly fried?
