Ok so I built my computer and its components are
EVGA 680i SLI motherboard
E6600 core2 duo
8800GTS 640 gpu
GSKILL 2GB ram

So i had an error occur a while ago where i couldnt start my computer up at all. after trying to start up it would say. "HARD DISK DRIVE FAILURE, PLEASE ENTER SYSTEM RESTORE DISK AND HIT ENTER" so i did just that but i would just pop up again, so i figured since my cd drives and my hard drive arent working, it had to be something else. So I RMA'd my mobo, my computer worked fine for another 3 monthes, then the same error just occured. Could this be just chance that the same error occured. is this even a motherboard problem or could it be caused by a faulty PSU or ram becoming bad and wearing down my mother board?

i vote power supply. seems to be the most common cure for the 680 boards. check your temps as well, heat kill's. i try to keep all my system temps below 45* i panic over 50* except gpu temp's.
the two most common problems i see here are excessive heat and cheap psu's.
