Motherboard / ram compatability

I have motherboard msi 760gm-p23 (fx). On msi site they say that this mb can just run 1333mhz but i have 1600mhz and its really good working. Can i upgrade it to 1866mhz ddr3 ram?

You could install RAM faster than specified but the RAM my default to a lower speed. In which case you might not benefit from installing faster RAM.
A which speed is the 1600MHz RAM running?
