Hi all, yesterday I was sure my GPU (GTX 760) died, as the desktop started using motherboard (ASUS B85M-E) integrated graphics. Placing GPU into another PCI-E slot (always empty) didn’t help, but it seemed strange that when being in 1 slot, it showed up in Device manager with a Code 43 error, and when being in another slot did not show up at all.
Reinstalling drivers didn’t help, same for forcing PCI-E in BIOS during boot up (it just changes to Auto again).

The 2nd GPU I got from a friend didn’t register either at first, but then, after idling 5 mins it got installed and showed up in the device manager. Then I put it in the 2nd slot and the PC again started without it and took about 5 mins to install and use it.
So, the questions are - can I be sure it’s the problem with my 1st GPU? Is it normal that the 2nd GPU is installed after I log into windows? Could it be the motherboard?
