Do you have any suggestion for motherboard replacement for dell xps 9100 to make this my desktop compatible to windows 10?

After I installed Windows 10 to my XPS 9100 ( I was well aware that it is not supported by DELL to be able to work with windows 10), my PC constantly crashes. So, I replaced many hardware, internal drives, power unit, fun, monitor, software you name it. It still crashes. I suspect, it is time to replace motherboard. I just want to keep experimenting to make my PC which is "permanent" replacing hardware as you go. I am aware that it may not financially make sense, but I just want to try.

XPS 9100 uses Intel Series 5 X58 chipset which is too old for Windows 10.

It is ATX Form factor. I would recommend spending a few bucks getting a new bare ATX Mid-Tower for better cooling and less hassle with Dell wiring.

Thanks Calvin. You supplied me the definite answer.
I had a dream to create a "forever" machine, so that people would not have to dump computer every 4 to 5 years, but we are not there yet.

Actually, I may build one using the hardware you suggested to build a machine that may not "forever" but for 10 years upgrading hardware as it goes.

Was it necessary to go to w10? I still have my w7 on my xps and it runs like a beast. It has its hiccups now and then, but after my recent ugprade to a i7-980x and a 1060 GTX, its like I have a new machine! Previously, it had a i7-930 with an old radeon 1gb. Going on 7 years now, knock on wood. Good luck!
