Hello all, i have made a mistake when selecting a motherboard for my first PC build. Now i would like to replace this motherboard. Not to make the same mistake again i want to make sure that my new motherboard will function properly with my components. Please help me in my new board selection. For some this is an easy question but not for me. Please spare a moment of your time to help me.

I wish to replace my motherboard with a GA-970A-UD3P. My current motherboard is the MSI 970a-g43. I would like to know if this motherboard will be compatible with my PC components? If yes will it run smoothly? or do i need a different board completely? Please recommend any alternatives if there are any. I am new to this forum so forgive me if i posted this in the wrong way. Thanks you for your time!

my specs:
16GB Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3-1600, CL9.
AMD FX-8350 Prozessor, Boxed, Sockel AM3+.
Corsair VS Serie V650, Non-Modular, 80+.
LG GH24NS bare.
LogiLink USB 2.0 all-in-one Card Reader,.
LogiLink Wireless LAN 300 Mbps PCI Karte.
MSI 970A-G43, AMD Sockel AM3+, ATX, DDR3.
NZXT LeXa S Midi-Tower - black.
Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X OC Boost Lite Retail mit MANTLE und Gaming Evolved Client, 4GBDDR5.
Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB, SATA 6Gb/s.
Sound Blaster Recon3D PCIe.
windows 7.

Solution
GA-970A-UD3P will be fine, and also depends where you are, other MBs you may considering are:
Asus M5A97 R2.0 or evo R2.0, MSI 970 GAMING ATX AM3+, etc

I have the CPU cooler that came with the cpu itself, standard small. Do you believe i will experience overheating problems with a new mobo? i thought the overheating came from the 970a-g43 not being able to handle the cpu. if i was to buy a cpu cooler, which one would you recommend taking into account my budged is quite tight. thanks.
