Motherboard replacement question

Guys I have a Gigabyte Z170 Gaming K3 motherboard, I am interested in replacing it with ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO. So if my components are compatible with the Gigabyte mobo, will they be good on the ASUS one? Sorry for noob question. If I need to tell you my components just ask me, I will reply.

I would look for a decent Z270 board since it fits the best for your specs.
