Motherboard return warranty

Do i have to have an anti static bag returning it to newegg ? The motherboard cam in dead PCIE lane. The mother board was a asus m5a97 r2.0. Everything else was goof just that lane.

Best would be to return it in the bag and box you received it, but an anti static bag usually is a requirement.

Thanks I didnt really know if it was required or not. I have to order a 10 pack off of amazon now.

Check the return policies; it should indicate if the bag is required. Why did you throw away the original bag? They can always become useful when shipping back components.
