I just got a new motherboard ram processor and power supply I got everything plugged in and ready to go and got it to bios then realized that I needed to wipe my hard drives that way they would work with the new build at least that's what someone on here said to do to stop getting sent back to bios repeatedly. Well I went to do that and my other computer decided to tell me to go sit down so then I went and got a "dirty" windows os so I could just do it from the new setup well now I do not get power or at least I think I don't, the mobo (Maximus ix hero) rgb lights are on and doing their beautiful transitioning. It when I go to hit the power button I get the start up lights for a split second then nothing except the rgb, any information to help resolve this issue would be great so I don't have to waste my money on geek squad to end up telling me a simple fix. (Side note I pulled apart everything To check wiring and to make sure everything was plugged in properly repeatedly.)

Ok. Usually when you're not posting there are a number of possibilities. The worst is that something is broken i.e. your processor, motherboard or something else. To narrow it down, try and re-seat your CPU and RAM and do not over tighten your cooler as this can create issues in the socket. Give that a go and see if that remedies the issue.

Would it still be a seating issue(for the CPU, I did have it working prior to this issue minus the repeated bios screen) it's not like I tightened anything down or even moved the tower I already had it thermal pasted down so I'd like to not buy cleaner just to attempt to reseat. But I will if it's still a possibility.

It is a common possibility. One of the first things builders do when they don't see a POST screen is re-seat the CPU. Sometimes the CPU can be slightly off and not contact the pins in the socket like it should. Or, it could be mashed down too tight by a cooler.

before you do this try clearing the cmos and then taking out the gpu and one ram stick see if the mb posts with onboard video. you could have gotten a virus from the dirty copy of windows. if there no post try using usb flashback if the mb has it and reflash the bios. you should have used windowos media creation tool from ms from another working pc to make a new windows 10 boot usb stick. you then boot from the stick and then wipe the drive using disktools or advance mode install in windows.

The CMOS has nothing to do with that. It's just the hardware parameters may be off and clearing the CMOS will reset them to their default value.

I'll give it a shot sorry though you were trying to say it might help resolve virus issues so I didn't try it but it's too late now I had already dropped it off at a local repair shop thanks everyone for the help.
