Motherboard sata port plastic broken

Hello,yesterday i was trying to remove my hdd sata cable from the mobo but i think i used to much force and pulled my sata cable along with sata plastic tab,but luckily the pins are still there,so i had to put it back to my next sata port,but what i want to say is there any chance that those pins can short circuit and damage my motherboard is there any chance i can fix that port or just simply try to put the L tab back in the pins,even though i already tried to put it back but the holes of the plastic are to tight,ill put some photos so u guys can see,im to freaked out that this gonna damage my motherboard and all the other components,please i need help ! potsed pics in imgur

Try warming that plastic in hot water, that should make it softer. If it won't go back use hot glue to cover pins so they don't short to each other or something else because that's only real danger..

i already tried warming in hot water,but guess ill just try and hot glue them
