Motherboard shows a red light for the CPU and DRam

I finished my first ever PC recently, I hooked it up to a monitor and tried doing a test boot, nothing would appear on the monitor and later I noticed that there was a red light above CPU and DRam on the motherboard. I'm fairly sure that all of the wiring has been inserted correctly and the parts have been installed correctly as well. My motherboard is a MSI - B350 PC MATE ATX AM4 Motherboard while my CPU is a AMD - Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor. The CPU cooler and system fans all function correctly when booted up too, is there any solution for this? I've tried making sure the CPU was installed correctly as well as running a double check on all the wiring. I've tried switching my ram from different slots too (currently on the closest one to CPU) but every time I boot up my PC, there's still two red lights above the tag 'CPU' and 'DRam' on my motherboard.

EDIT: So when connected to a monitor and powered up, there's no "No Signal" on the monitor unlike some other threads I've seen, all it gives me is a black screen. I've tried both HDMI and DVI ports as well as using two different monitors just to make sure one of them wasn't the problem.

What memory did you use? If they are over 3000mhz one, that is the RAM problem, because most of the B350 can't use over 3000mhz RAM.

It's a Crucial - 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory, I'm not too knowledgeable about computers so I'm not sure if it uses over 3000mhz RAM.

OK. other question? Do you have a discrete GPU? Don't say no.
If you don't have one, you need one, because either the ryzen 5 or the B350 MB does not have any GPU.

Could you help me understand what a discrete GPU is? I'm not too familiar with it and I've just been trying to google what it is but I still don't quite understand where it's located and what it's for.

Probably 90% of the time if you get power but no boot, it is either something isn't connected properly (I've had power cables come loose after moving my PC) or bad RAM. First things to try are putting your RAM in different RAM slots and then checking to make sure your CPU doesn't have any bent pins.

Also you put all your standoffs in right? The metal screws under the motherboard that the motherboard screws into.

If you feel like it, clear pictures of your mobo setup wouldn't hurt.

I tried putting my RAM in the spot farthest away from my CPU. After that, I turned it on to see if that would help, surprisingly the CPU and DRAM LEDs have stopped lighting up but now the BOOT and the GPU LED are red upon startup.

Discrete GPU, someone may call it "Dedicated GPU", which as opposed to "integrated graphics". Because you don't say you have it or not, just ask.
Now you said, GPU LED is red upon startup, so I guess you don't have any GPU in your PC.
