Motherboard skipping BIOS screen. PLEASE HELP.

My motherboard bios when I start my computer or restart my computer is not showing up it just goes straight to the windows loading screen,I can still go into the bios if I spam the bios on my keyboard but I dont see a bios screen.

Please Help.

You might have fast boot turned on in the bios or another setting. I would go into bios and reset it back to factory defaults. That should do the trick. You may need to clear the CMOS. To clear the CMOS just remove the battery from the motherboard for about 10 seconds. The battery is about the size of a quarter.

Ive cleared the cmos multiple times Ive reset the bios to factory settings multiple times so I dont know whats up,Ive turned fast boot off aswell.

Did you download the software that came with the motherboard? A lot of that stuff is just bloatware. But there are utilities in those packages that allow you to remove the bios screen. I would look in there and see if you changed something by mistake. Or just uninstall those utilities all together.

this has only started happening recently I dont understand why.

I have a similar issue with a new threadripper computer I built. For me IF I use an OLD monitor I have laying around the monitor is so SLOW to turn on its already booting OR to the windows login screen before I can get into UEFI (bios) unless I spam the keybord shortcut to load bios. IF I put it on a newer asus monitor I have that I use on an other computer then I can actually see the UEFI (bios) screen for like a second or two before it starts loading windows. It may be the same thing like that.

Yeh thats what I was thinking,I recently have broke my monitor by punching it in anger and the wire that connects the front io of my monitor (the power button and settings buttons) and its only happened after that so I think you might be right.

Heyhey,

I am happy to let you all know I have a solution for this problem after searching for ages.
The bios loads to quick for your monitor/connection. There is an option in the boot menu, or in the bios somewhere that's called " Post Delay Time " Which is usually set to 3 seconds. Sometimes, that's to quick for older monitors/cables whatever to load the bios. Change it to 9 seconds, and you'll have a bios again!
