As far as I have understood, the vid card you chose can only be used in Crossfire, not SLI - that is reserved for nVidia GPUs.

Good choice on the CPU. It's the same one that I have.

If you're looking for SLI, I have the 680i and love it. I look forward to another graphics card in the future.
