motherboard sound?

ok i didn't install the audio drivers yet, but if your motherboard is that "Beep" sound that means your on board audio is not dead right?

The beep you here when you boot up is played through the case speaker and is not related to the onboard audio.

no i know its not the boot up beep
the other beep, like when ur system encounters an error, this different kind of beep
