Hai,
currently I have spend 4days to find a solution for the next problem.
I have deleted the graphic driver in safe mode of the old graphic driver, because the new one did not work. (Nvidia driver)
New video card in the pc and pc will not boot.
I have changed the powersupply 500watt now.
4gig ram memory, x64 cpu.
Cleared cmos, removed battery motherboard....video card in....put bacl the battery.. no boot.
have choosen PCI, PCI-E and onboard VGA in BIOS. Nothing. Pc wont boot. Have pullen out all hardware (dvd, tv card, wireless card) no boot.
Fresh install, no drivers, put the new video card in the pc....... no boot.
Tested the videocard on another pc and it worked. The store where the card was bought, said that this card would work in any pc.
The guy, a grand dad, went to the store, said he want to convert VHS to digital video's. They didn't ask for any details of the pc. They just gave him this card.
I also found this. See last answer. I think that this is the case!
So, if anybody knows a solution......please tell me what to do.
Otherwise I would like advise which videocard I can buy. Just the most simple one with 1 gig memory (?) to make sure that grandpa can convert his videos
I hope you can help me out here,
