Motherboard standoff placing

im going to build a computer and I would like to know how to properly place the motherboard on the standoffs so that I WONT scratch the motherboards back and ruin the build.

You'd have to be very careless to ruin a motherboard by simply placing it on the standoffs.

Insert it in the case, push it towards the back plate to align the holes with the standoffs and screw it in. I mean that's all there is to it and you can't damage a motherboard doing that. It's less risky than installing components like the memory modules, the CPU cooler or the GPU.
