[SOLVED] Motherboard startup error

Every time I try I try booting up my pc with my gpu in my monitor gets "no signal" and I have the error code "b2" displayed on my motherboard.When I take out my gpu and plug the hdmi into my motherboard my pc boots up and works properly. This happened last year around this time and without me doing anything it just started working again and I made it a whole year and now its doing it again.

Specs:
GPU - MSI GTX 970
CPU - Intel i7-4790
Motherboard - MSI Z97 Gaming 5
PSU- Corsair RM 750
also Windows 10 64 bit not sure if that matters

First I would power down and reseat the card and the power connectors.

If that doesn't work...I'd load the latest driver from NVidia.

If that doesn't work, I'd try a new HDMI cable.

The hdmi cable works to my motherboard and ive loaded the newest MSI drivers, any other ideas?

It may be the graphics card acting up. I might try it in another machine.
