I am planning on upgrading my PC from an Intel Skylake Core i7-6700k to a i9-9900k. With this I need a new motherboard. I need a motherboard with at least 6 USB ports (some USB 3 but not all) and at least 1000 mbps LAN port speed. I was looking into getting the Gigabyte z390 Aorus Ultra. Is this a good motherboard for a 9900k or any other suggestions? Trying to keep motherboard cost at $250ish or under. The rest of my build is:

PSU: EVGA 850w
GPU: EVGA 1080ti SC 2
Storage: 2Tb crucial SSD and 128 Kingston SSD
RAM: 16GB of 2400 (gigabyte ripjaws)
CPU cooler: Cooler Master MasterAir Maker 8
Case: Corsair Crystal Series 570X RGB

The main thing to look at with the I9 is the VRM quality on the motherboard. Many of the budget and value Z390 boards VRMs won't be able to properly power the I9 at full power draw or at least not for long before throttling or burning out.

There's not really need to spend more than 200$ to find a really good Z390.

The Phantom Gaming is actually really good design and shares alot of things from the Taichi. Well capable of the i9 9900K and easily overclocks as long as you have the right cooling, this motherboard won't be the limiting factor.
