I am looking for a board that will run a Core 2 Duo processor, that has an AGP slot, and takes DDR 400 memory.

It would be great if it would also take faster memory, and have a pci express 16 slot so when the time comes I can throw a new video card on it.

Any recommendations? I have seen the following:

AsRock 775Dual-VSTA and ASUS P5PE-VM. They both will take an AGP card as well as DDR400, so they will work, but I was hoping to find something a better upgrade path.

Thanks
Charles

I used the AsRock 775Dual-VSTA as my upgrade MB. Worked great for me. Kept my DDR333 and my 9800Pro. It will only run DDRII 667 (just underclocked my 800 to 533)and PCIEx4 (a PCIEx16 card will still run). I upgraded parts as I could afford them then eventually replaced it with an Abit AB9 QuadGT.

wow agp slot? why man just upgrade to pci express and lose the agp card... pop in a 8mb regular pci video card for 5$ until u can afford a 8600gt or 7600 gt or something!!
