Hi all. I always end up stumbling apon this site so thought I'd make an account this time.

Just fresh out of a build nightmare (bricked my old Intel board DZ77BH-55K by attempting to update my bios for the graphic card in this post like a dodo.)

Wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for an Intel board that supports a Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB G1 out of the box without any bios updating required.

Can only post vague specs this moment in time but I'm running an i7 with 16gb ram the GPU mentioned above and 750w PSU.

Main focus is just having a new Motherboard that will take the GPU without having to make any BIOS adjustments out of the box.

Many, many thanks in advance.

Update: Intel Core i7-2600 Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor

Is the cpu.
