Motherboard Switch Low FPS

I have recently switched to a new mother board ( MSI 990FXA GAMING ) to slightly overclock my cpu ( AMD FX8320E ) from 3.2 to 4.5 ghz using yh3 core voltage. I trust noticed that I was getting 30 fps in games that normally run great. So I looked it up and reinstalled windows and the games. I have reinstalled the game and I still have this problem. I no longer over clocked my cpu..... but this is happening on all of my games and it very annoying......... May someone please help me. Thanks
