Motherboard Switch Troubles

I just bought a third motherboard, becasue the first two were defective. I installed it and everything booted, but the computer doesn't recognize the grpahic card drivers. I also can't install the motherboard drivers without an error message. Should I re-install the second one back and delet all existing board drivers before making the swicth, or am I missing something?

Did you replace the motherboard with the same identical model? Usually when you change motherboards it is highly recommended to prevent issues like the ones you have.

I think what The_Man12 means to say is that if you change motherboards and are not using an identical motherboard to the one you swapped out, you should perform a clean install of the OS to prevent the issues you are experiencing.

No, they're completely different. The first was a Asus Maximus VII Formula( had a defective PCIe slot, couldnt configure SLI), and the newer one is a MSI z97 Gaming 5 motherboard

Reinstall Windows. When you change motherboards it is highly recommended to reinstall Windows to prevent problems.
