Motherboard symptoms

Hello,
so i have a built computer well heres ther problem after a couple of months of using it i did overclocked twice well always left it in sleep mode but one day wouldnt do anyting so i turned the switch on and off and the power button and the fans and leds only blink once for like a split second so i figured my ps went out so bought a antec and noting so i checked the cpu and i noticed that on the of where the cpu sits on the mobo there a lil black stuff
so hmm i thought fuk the cpu and thats where im at right now
here are the specs
-crosshair 4
-phenom ii x6
-6gig ozc something like that
-radeon hd 6770
-antec 750w
let me know with suggestions

Do you see where the black stuff came from, possibly one of the capacitors on the motherboard?
