Motherboard SYSTIN temperature OVER 100°C

Hello everyone!

I just installed a new motherboard today after my old one became faulty. The board in question is a MSI B150 Night Elf µATX. After putting all the components together and installing Windows, I checked temperatures with HWMonitor and while pretty much all components (CPU, SSD, GPU) were at or below 40°C including case temperature, the SYSTIN temperature of the motherboard reported 109°C (minimum) to 111°C (maximum). All other MB temperatures were fine (below 40°C). I then checked in the BIOS and since it is a relatively low feature board it only gave me CPU and SYS temperatures. Both below 40°C as well. I don't smell any burning smell and I also touched all heatsinks of the board directly after shutting down and unplugging everything (took me about 60 seconds) and none of them felt warmer than 40°C. Do you guys think this just a faulty reading due to lack of a sensor? If so, why would it hover between 109°C and 111°C? My system works just fine and I have enough fans in the case and on the CPU and I also applied new thermal paste to the CPU before putting on a powerful heat sink. Speccy also gives me the same readings.

Thanks so much in advance.

Damn, after I install the 64bit version, the program freezes while trying to collect system information. Don't know why. But I do assume it's a bogus reading as the temp is 110°C IMMEDIATELY after startup while I can slowly see the other temps rise to normal idle temps over time. I'll just wait and see... Everything is running fine, I will give it some time and try playing some games to really get the system working. Thank you though!
