Motherboard temperature consistently high

In the past week or two, the fifth temperature of my motherboard has been consistently high at 57 degrees - even when idle.

My computer isn't slow or stuck. I am just curious as to why the temperature is so high (even after turning it off for several hours) and if constant use at this temperature would damage the motherboard. (I keep my computer on for most of the time.)
Also, what is temeperature #5?

Even my second and sixth temperature get higher.

This was not the case for the first six months of my PC. It's only been happening in the past week or two. I am more curious than worried (since I have been told that it's nothing to worry about) about this phenomena.

EDIT: I've noticed that even my processor temperatures are getting much higher than they used to be with the same load despite a very high-end fantastic cooler like Corsair H100i v2.
 
37c. at idle tells me that your cooler has become something less that fantastic.
Possibly, it has become dislodged, the pump has started to fail, or the coolant lines have become clogged.
I would expect that at idle, your temperatures should be perhaps 10c. over ambient.

Also check that the fans in your case are operating normally.
You need good case intake fans to be able to feed the radiator so it can do it's job.
Does taking the case covers off help?

What do you mean by ambient? The weather? Its' 30-33 degrees C here.

What should the temperature for all parts be at idle?

The GPU is at 40 right now.
 
Ambient temperature is room temperature.
If the temperature in your room is anywhere like 30c(86f.) you have my sympathy.
Your cooler is likely OK if that is the situation.
Even a liquid cooler is an air cooler so far as the radiator is concerned.
It can only cool down the parts to close to ambient and will never reach it.
What might have changed recently?

If your concern is the motherboard temperatures, , that is determined by airflow over the motherboard.
How is your H100 radiator mounted?
What is your case?
It seems you can't win.
If you mount the radiator to take in cool air from the outside, your cpu will cool better but the hot radiator air will increase your motherboard temperatures.

OTOH, if the radiator is mounted to take in cooling air from inside the case, your motherboard will get better airflow.
That comes at the expense of hotter air going to cool the cpu.

So to get my motherboard cooler, my CPU would get hotter?

Even my CPU is at 40 degrees now.

I dunno. Mumbai got its summer season...

I uninstalled some apps that I had uninstalled...

I opted in for Windows Insider (after this heating problem, IIRC).

Shouldn't the AC reduce the temperature though? I keep my AC at 22 degrees and the temperatures don't change even after an hour or two.
 
With a/c, your ambient temperature in your room should be a nice 22c.

If so, look again at your cooler.
37c. for a cpu at idle seems a bit high.

Are you overclocking your 7700K?
If so, have you implemented speedstep?
That will reduce the clock and associated vcore at idle.
High vcore is what heats up the cpu.
Look at cpu-Z.
It will show you your multiplier and vcore as you are running.

I don't think A/c has ever affected the reported temperatures.

I have not overclocked any part of my PC.
