Motherboard that is wider than 9.6 inches and only 9.6 inches tall

Hello,
I have an odd question that I can't seem to find answer to. I noticed my pc case has extra mounting points to the side of the motherboard. Right now i have a 9.6 x 9.6 in mobo in it. The thing is there is no extra space above/below the board, the case can't support a mobo taller than 9.6 in. Unfortunately there is no documentation for the case because its an old hp case i found lol. So are there any motherboards that are wider than 9.6 inches but not taller than 9.6 inches?

Thats HP using their own format.
mATX standards dictate 9.6" or less.
"The maximum size of a microATX motherboard is 9.6 × 9.6 in (244 × 244 mm). The standard ATX size is 25% longer, at 12 × 9.6 in (305 × 244 mm)."

ah, I see. That makes a lot of sense. I'll just stick with micro atx till i get a new case then . Thank you!
