motherboard to graphics card compatibility?

hello!

i have an ASRock N68-VS3 FX Motherboard

and i just bought a powercolor hd 7770

now, i am not quite sure if there components are compatible with one another. can someone help me?

P.S my previous graphics card is nvidia biostar geforce 210 and my processor is a dual core athlon AMD 3.21 GHz

Those are fine mate. There's a PCI-E 2.0 slot there on the board which your card uses.

i see. but i forgot to put in my tread the powercolor hd 7770 has an external port for external power energy? its something like that, im sorry because i get this short term memory loss, thats why im not quite sure what i am talking about, please correct me if im wrong. xD Thank you sir JimmoR3M
